Improving Domestic Outbound Freight Utilization

Every year, hundreds of Herman Miller's outbound shipments underutilize load space due to incorrect freight planning.

The goal of this project is to define and develop algorithms and process improvements to help optimize Herman Miller's ability to ship products efficiently.

The primary objectives in maximizing global freight efficiency are cost savings, improving on-time delivery to customers, and reducing environmental impact.
