Improved Dashboards for Throughput Analysis

Currently, a lack of integrated and user-friendly tools to identify bottlenecks and data collection issues at GM North America manufacturing plants has led to increased manual effort and inconsistent results when finding bottlenecks at plant floor levels.

Throughout this project, we will improve current bottleneck identification methods and address automated data collection issues at individual and management levels to better support plant floor analysis needs and allow plants to act more self-sufficiently.

While addressing gaps in existing methods, we also aim to create an intuitive interface powered by Power BI that shields the end-user from the underlying requirement of complex, application-specific knowledge.
