Boeing Corp.: 787 Parts Repair and Protection

This project aims to improve parts deployment flow and quality at Boeing's 787 Final Assembly plant in Charleston, SC. By auditing the inventory of damaged parts, analyzing recurring part defects, and mapping the full parts deployment process, the Tauber team will identify root causes and key failure points. The team will apply structured problem-solving methods to pilot protective handling measures and to standardize repair-versus-replace decision processes to reduce costs and support sustainable growth in production rates.
