A Tauber team evaluated BorgWarner’s aluminum die casting foundry in Piracicaba, Brazil, to identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and delivery. Through supplier benchmarking and process analysis, the team recommended improvements to finishing operations, maintenance, production planning, and material flow to strengthen capacity utilization and reduce inventory and lead times.
