A Tauber team helped DTE Energy evaluate fuel strategies at its Monroe power plant to reduce electricity costs for Michigan customers. The team developed operational and financial models, simulated fuel scenarios, and assessed petroleum coke blending and natural gas options. Its recommendations balanced potential customer savings with supply, regulatory, and market uncertainties.
