Blue Origin’s Arlington, WA casting foundry is responsible for the production of critical BE-4 engine components. Motivated by Blue’s mission of millions of humans living and working in space, this project seeks to support throughput increases with nonlinear increases in cost. By developing a capacity model for the foundry by operation, this project aims to help Blue meet their ambitious production targets.
