Brian is a Professor in the Departments of Materials Science & Engineering and Biomedical Engineering here at Michigan since 2008. He is involved in structure/property relationships in soft structures, which find use in a range of applications in medicine,, chemical and biochemical process industries, automotive, and manufacturing. He teaches primarily the senior/grad level classes on polymers and biomaterials and more recently on the end use of materials and potential 2nd acts as recycled components in design. He’s advised over 15 Tauber projects and looks forward to engaging with student teams again this summer.
