Following the San Bruno, California gas pipeline explosion, PG&E made major advancements in revamping its pipeline maintenance and operations.

As part of its commitment to safety and reliability, PG&E challenged Tauber students to evaluate gaps, bottlenecks, cycle time, and compliance issues within their processes described in the "Super Gas Operations" initiative, based on resolving issues in work management, resource management, and close-out of work processes.
