The University of Michigan Tauber Institute for Global Operations presents the Fall 2021 Integrated Product Development Online Trade Show, featuring innovative products created by cross-disciplinary student teams.
Taught jointly by faculty of the Ross School of Business and the Stamps School of Art & Design, the annual Integrated Product Development course challenges students from the College of Engineering, Ross School of Business, Stamps School of Art & Design, and School of Information to design, build, and market a brand new product, and then to face free market competition through the IPD Trade Show.
The Fall 2021 IPD challenge: Products to Enable Aging in Place, Safely
Students were challenged to design a product-driven solution that addresses the problem of social isolation in pandemic conditions by enabling increased meaningful social engagement. The new product might include service, technology, application, or built environment features and should be suitable for home use.
The event is free and open to the public.
