Events
The Tauber Institute hosts events for students, alumni, the University of Michigan community, and the general public. Tauber Institute faculty and staff also present at industry conventions and academic symposiums throughout the year.
Community Service Day 2016
Time frame:
7:30 am - 8:00 am Continental breakfast in colloquium in Ross and pick up boxed lunches for teams
8:00 am - head out to companies/organizations
12:00 pm - lunch with team (provided by Tauber)
4:00 pm - return to Ross for wrap-up
The community service day is a volunteer collaborative effort between Tauber students, faculty, staff, and our Industry Advisory Board. This will be the fifth year of volunteering to help area organizations solve operational problems.
In the past, volunteer teams worked with the Ann Arbor ReUse Center, FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, Ryan's Case for Smiles (formerly named Conkerr Cancer), and the Clean Energy Coalition.
