The mission of the Tauber Alumni Board (TAB) is to foster a lifelong relationship among Tauber alumni, students and faculty. Composed of alumni volunteers and the Tauber alumni manager, the TAB and associated committees plan events, programs and outreach activities aimed at boosting the value of being an alumnus of the Tauber Institute. The TAB also works with the Industry Advisory Board and Student Advisory Board to liaison on projects and to build and strengthen relationships among the groups.
Alumni Board

Andrew is currently a senior manager for Program Management within Amazon’s Just-Walk-Out Technology team. Prior to joining Amazon, he has held multiple operations leadership roles at The Boeing Company including; Supplier Development and Diversity, Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Performance, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Quality Engineering, 787 Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing. Prior to Boeing, Andrew completed an MBA and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Michigan. Originally from New Zealand, Andrew completed Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management from the University of Canterbury before moving to Chicago for a manufacturing engineering position
Andrew is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. He also likes to travel and has visited every continent except Antarctica. Though these days he spends most of his free time with his wife and two young daughters.

The Alumni Networking Committee researches ways to better stay in contact with alumni, and to track their career growth since graduation.
Tauber currently hosts regular networking events and also provides online opportunities to facilitate alumni interaction.


The Student Mentoring Committee continually develops improved methods of communication between alumni and students to assist students in achieving their career goals upon graduation. Tauber mentors use their experience to help new alumni be successful. Ray Gonzalez bio >
