Anne Partington comes to the Tauber Institute with over two decades of global operations, supply chain, business development, and product development leadership experience. She also has startup experience, mobility commercialization, and DEIB leadership experience.  Anne previously served as the Director of the statewide Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC) Advanced Transportation Innovation Hub at the University of Michigan. This program sits at the intersection of industry, academia, and the high-tech start-up space. During her tenure, the program enabled five new startups and provided $2M in grant funds across 22 competitively selected project teams that went on to achieve $24M in follow-on funding. 

Anne's prior experience also includes two decades of global leadership experience at Fiat-Chrysler (Stellantis) and General Motors in the automotive industry. Her multidisciplinary background includes global supply chain, program management, and product development experience, including managing a $3.5B global mechatronics purchasing team with five regional teams as well as extensive culture-building experience. 

Anne earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and an M.S. in Management of Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She was recognized as a 2022 Women Engineers You Should Know by the Society of Women Engineers, has a Global Dimensions of D.E.I. certification from the University of Chicago, and a Professional Innovator certification from the University of Michigan.

Anne currently serves on the Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation Board as VP of Career Enhancement and mentors young professionals in her spare time. Anne's lifelong passion has been building high-performing teams where differences are embraced and respected, innovation is foundational, and individuals can feel a sense of belonging to thrive. She is also a steward and lifelong student of positive business organizational leadership.
