Jason Clark, Vice President and General Manager, 777/777X Program and Everett Site Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Jason Clark is vice president and general manager of the Boeing 777/777X family of airplanes. Named to the role in April 2024, he leads the design, development, certification, production and delivery of all models of 777/777X airplanes, the most popular widebody airplane family of all time. Clark also oversees regulatory compliance and community interaction for the Boeing site in Everett, Washington, the company’s largest site.
Previously, Clark was vice president and general manager of the Boeing 767 airplane program, leading the team responsible for production and delivery of the versatile 767 family, including the fuel-efficient 767 Freighter and 767-2C tanker variant.
Prior to that, Clark was vice president of Airplane Programs Engineering, with responsibility for the engineering teams directly supporting all commercial production programs. He worked with these teams to prioritize statement of work to ensure product definition, production system efficiency and fleet safety and reliability. Clark also provided strategic direction to the Engineering team for use of common processes and tools and drives integration across programs, people and business units.
Earlier, Clark led the Product Development Operations team, helping to develop the next generation of aerospace production systems, including advanced fabrication, assembly technologies, and logistics. Clark has held a variety of other Engineering and Operations leadership roles on the 747/767, 777 and 787 programs and in Product Development.
Clark earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and three master’s degrees in business and engineering from Washington State University and the University of Michigan.
