The senior leadership team of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations establishes strategy and priorities in fulfillment of the institute’s mission, working closely with associate and assistant deans, department chairs, and University of Michigan administrators who serve on our Executive Committee.
Dawn M. Tilbury is the inaugural Department Chair of Robotics at the University of Michigan. Her research interests lie broadly in the area of control systems, including applications to robotics and manufacturing systems. In particular, she considers how high-performance computing and high-speed networking can improve the performance of manufacturing systems. She is the Director of the NSF Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) on Digital Twins for Manufacturing.
