Dave Ostreicher is a Lecturer at the University of Michigan, holding dual appointments in the Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering. At Ross, he is part of the Technology & Operations Area, and in the College of Engineering, he teaches within the Industrial & Operations Engineering Department. Dave brings over 20 years of industry experience from his career at Toyota’s North American Research & Development Headquarters, where he worked in the Purchasing Supplier Development Division. During this time, he completed two multi-year assignments in Japan, serving as a liaison between the North American Purchasing organization and Toyota’s global headquarters. In his most recent role, he led strategic initiatives for North American battery electric vehicles.
