Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Generating mid to long-term network Master Production Schedule (MPS) in monthly buckets (4 – 48 months); ensuring annual plan stability is met
- Monitoring demand forecast and managing inventory levels to ensure network supply plans are aligned; mapping market/product demand to SKUs and DCs
- Modeling supply chain network to evaluate demand scenarios, define sourcing strategies, maintain planning parameters, and support the budgeting process
- Proposing safety stock levels throughout the drug product (DP) supply chain and works with active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) supply chain to ensure alignment of inventory across DP and API
- Working with API supply chain to ensure long-range API purchase plans support MPS, and resolving issues where they may arise
- Rough cut capacity planning and monthly evaluation against existing capacity models to ensure feasible MPS
- Supporting monthly supply management meetings to present network MPS and changes per planning cycle
- Representing Global Supply Chain (GSC) on Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) and Commercial CMC project reviews (CCPR) teams to ensure that changes in DP manufacturing and strategy are implemented on time and accordingly reflected in production plans
- Managing NPI introductions and ensuring supply plan alignment with launch timelines
- Resolving supply issues in short-term network plan (3 months); short-term network inventory balancing
- Providing monthly forecast (18-month rolling) to contract manufacturers (CMO)
- Managing relationships with other departments (quality, mfg., AO, logistics, etc.) to resolve supply issues
- Supporting process changes in the ERP system to reflect schedule adjustments according to production progress, change orders, or other delaying conditions

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable in understanding and communicating both scientific and business elements to multiple audiences
- Able to work independently and support multiple activities simultaneously
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory guidance, including pharmaceutical GMP and ICH Q7A
- Fair understanding of financial aspects of supply chain operations
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting and tracking tools
- Experience in planning using advanced planning systems (Kinaxis RapidResponse, JDA, O9), and working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Planning experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment is highly desired
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a related field and a BS or BA; or 6+ years of relevant experience and MS/MBA
- APICS certification is a plus
