Establishes and implements strategies for negotiating supplier/commodity agreements based on in-depth knowledge of the market. Employs knowledge of SSD/NAND market and supplier base for effective risk management and implement supply chain models to develop and implement optimal commodity management strategies. Negotiates contracts and ensures contractual terms and performance scorecards are being met. Develops and implements plans to support supply requirements for ISSD during NPI phase.

•Lead global commodity team which involves cross functional engagement of engineering, marketing, quality and services
•Implements Dell initiatives with supply base as required to improve commodity management

•Identifies suppliers that provide relevant technology for products.
•Identifies cost targets for relevant roadmap products.
•Present to executive management on as need basis on market updates for SSDs
•Manage supplier relationship and engagement with suppliers and buyers on supply requirements during NPI phase
12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a Master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
