Job Description

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for developing long-term Operational strategies and work closely with senior management to meet company objectives. Responsibilities will include, overseeing Company’s daily operations, negotiations, budgeting, purchasing, vendor management, strategic partnerships, hiring & onboarding talent as well as maintaining accountability to critical processes via regular audits and rigorous data analysis. You will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the Company you will strive towards developing Operational Excellence. You have strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s growth success. • Liaise with the leadership team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals Operations;
• Plan, implement and manage overall long-term business success strategy;
• Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of overall business practices, financial performance, operational compliance & excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development;
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress;
• Understand and manage cost contributors to positively affect the P & L;
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback to improve overall productivity;
• Collaborate with department management to develop financial plans;
• Review financial information frequently;
• Oversee all warehouse operations & strategies;
• Ensures administration and warehouse governance is developed and implemented, including but not limited to, productivity and internal controls;
• Develops strategies to monitor and correct governance issues;
• Track, monitor and forecast quarterly warehouse budget impacts and annual plans.
• Develop and drive uniformity in warehouse/install policies and procedures (including staffing);
• Improve Operational efficiency;
• Monitor revenue margins;
• Research and implement new directives for business growth and prosperity;
• Develop and refine a culture that promotes continuous improvement towards world-class performance;
• Establish departmental budgets and manage actual expenditures monthly;
• Communicates KPI’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly;
• Participate in company marketing and sales efforts;
• Interviews, hires and trains employees;
• Develop policies and procedures and encourage adherence;
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors;
• Develop a culture of engagement, communication and recognition to drive retention of team members.
