Position Summary

The Deployment Project Manager is a manager level position within R1 RCM’s (R1) Deployment Office. The Deployment Office is an enterprise-wide central function created to support all activities related to the successful on-boarding of new customers onto the R1 business model. The project manager is responsible for collaborating with various business units across the organization, such as Human Resources, Operations, Contract Management, and IT, to ensure completeness and adherence to project plans, identify risk areas, and drive accountability among all stakeholders. The Deployment Project Manager coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates status to Business Owners, Senior Management and Customers as needed.

Role will involve travel to client sites on a regular basis

Your day to day role will include:

-Maintaining the online project portfolio management solution (Microsoft Project Online) to manage all projects related to Deployment Collaboration with multiple business units to coordinate deployment road map, confirm completeness of implementation schedules/plans, and drive to completion all key Deployment-related milestones, and deliverables

-Responsibility for providing Business Owners and/or customers with updated implementation
plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, communications documents, etc.

-Developing and managing system wide dashboards, launch scorecards to track progress
and identify opportunities to accelerate implementation plans

-Managing and helping drive resolution to Risk & Issues Log (RAIL) items across work streams and needed escalation to leadership

-Developing and executing recovery plans for any projects that are off schedule

-Developing, documenting and ensuring adherence to standardized processes and project
status reporting methodologies

-Deployment Cadence and Communication Publication

Strong motivation and a detail-orientated nature to be able to work and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Previous program management experience simultaneously managing and leading multiple large implementation projects across varying organizational disciplines/functions
At least 3 years of management experience, preferably gained in a project management, performance/continuous improvement or consulting role
Previous experience with Microsoft Project Online and building out an online PMO solution
Strong skills with MS Office suite including: Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care Administration, Engineering or related disciplines
Ability to anticipate potential problem areas and strategically problem solve to mitigate risk exposure and ensure all deadlines are met
Ability to facilitate meetings and lead multiple groups to achieve common goal

Previous implementation experience
Healthcare /Revenue Cycle related experience
PMP Certification
