Meredith has been a member of the Cardinal Health Global Sourcing team for over 5 years. In her current role, Meredith has Sourcing responsibility for the Presource kitting division where she manages over $700 Million in spend across 13,000+ sku’s. Prior to this role she was the Director of Sourcing Operations with responsibility for 1,500 Medical product suppliers, distribution agreements, supplier master data, reporting and analytics, and sourcing strategy development.
In total, Meredith has been with Cardinal Health for 11 years and has worked in both the Medical and Pharmaceutical business segments. Within the Pharmaceutical segment, she worked in Operational Excellence leadership roles, providing Deployment and Master Black Belt support to the Sourcing, Inventory and Operations teams.
Prior to Cardinal Health Meredith worked for Diamond Innovations, formerly GE Superabrasives. While at GE she obtained her Lean Manager certification and held the role of Supply Chain Manager with responsibility for production, inventory planning, demand management, and inventory optimization functions. Additional roles at GE included Global Sourcing Manager and Global Sourcing Black Belt. Meredith also worked for PPG Industries as a Process Engineer where she first received Six Sigma Black Belt training.
Meredith is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She holds an APICS CPIM certification, Lean Manager and Master Black Belt certifications, is a member of HIDA’s Professional Women in Healthcare, and a running coach for Girls on the Run.
He is currently serving on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan and the Board of Directors for the Danby Group, a $500 million, family run company with headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
