Since 2009, Mae has played a key leadership role in creating the function of Global Advanced Manufacturing as a new capability at Whirlpool Corporation in order to gain leverage across the global manufacturing footprint. Besides providing early input to product development teams, Mae’s team is responsible for developing new process technologies and and optimized manufacturing processes (called Bills of Processes or BoP’s). Mae played a significant role in helping BoP’s become accepted as the global standard within Whirlpool manufacturing.
In 2014 Mae was given full leadership accountability for Global Advanced Manufacturing. Mae has over 30 years of experience in multiple industries including chemical processing, composites, and consumer goods. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Mae was Vice President- Molding Compound Operations for Premix, Inc. Mae was recently recognized for her career achievements by the Manufacturing Institute with the 2015 STEP Ahead award for women in manufacturing. Mae graduated from Michigan Technological University.
