Community Service Day Committee

Community Service Day is a celebration of our longstanding commitment to organizations in the state of Michigan. On Community Service Day, the Tauber Institute encourages its 30+ Industry Advisory Board members, alumni, students, faculty and staff to make southeastern Michigan nonprofits and community-oriented companies top clients for the day by contributing their time and talent to help solve operations challenges.

In 2019 Tauber Institute volunteers made an impact on Community Service Day by donating expert operations advice to the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program and to Argus Farm Stop in Ann Arbor.

From Bill Brinkerhoff, Co-Owner Argus Farm Stop:
"Thank you for organizing the Community Service Day at Argus. It was very helpful to hear the prospectives of your group. We have already started implementing the recommendations and Meghan used the expanded work space to prepare a tremendous volume of orders this week for Saturday’s Local Food Summit meeting (250+ people).... Thank you for your leadership and the great group that you engaged on this project."
