C. Kevin Harrington is Vice President, Global Customer Operations at HERE Technologies. In this role, Kevin leads the delivery of customer solutions, technical support services, and complex sales enablement scenarios. Kevin is focused on people, processes, capabilities, culture, and transformational change, ensuring each is aligned with HERE Technologies’ company strategy.
Previously, Kevin was General Manager, Global Operations Services at Microsoft, and led a worldwide organization that delivered center-led life cycle and security services to Microsoft’s Sales, Marketing & Services Group (SMSG). His team focused on designing and implementing great customer and partner experiences that optimized cost, ensured quality, and unified cross customer segment go-to-market plans. Kevin was accountable for global product launch success across Microsoft’s portfolio of software, services, and devices. He was also responsible for product release and security services, anti-piracy monitoring and intervention, global product price publication, customer & partner digital experience and commercial program implementation.
Prior to Microsoft, Kevin was Vice President of Transformation at Cisco. In this assignment, he was responsible for leading operations for the Accelerated Cisco Transformation Program (ACT), a multi-year, company-wide platform aimed at delivering increased productivity, agility and growth by transforming Cisco’s product and services portfolio, operational capabilities and go-to-market processes. Prior to this assignment, Harrington created and led Global Business Operations for Cisco’s Customer Value Chain Management organization. He was an integral designer and implementer of Cisco’s six-year global supply chain transformation. During his 12 year tenure at Cisco, Kevin also held senior leadership positions in Cisco Services and Global Supply Chain.
Kevin is a high technology business veteran with diverse experiences in large and small companies. His 28 year career spans a spectrum of disciplines including networking and telecommunications, mission critical computing platforms, enterprise software, SAAS, technical services, consulting services, and precision manufacturing capital equipment. Kevin has held a variety of senior management and corporate officer positions. Prior to Microsoft and Cisco, Kevin was President and COO of Centegy Corporation, a B2B Supply Chain software and services company. He also served as Vice President of Operations at Satmetrix, a leader in Customer Loyalty measurement systems and Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Micro Optics Design Corporation, a breakthrough technology company in the area of automated ophthalmic manufacturing. Earlier in his career he led the North American Services organization at Amdahl Corporation.
He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan.
Kevin holds a B.S. Business Administration degree, magna cum laude, from California State University, Chico and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Kevin and his wife live in southern California. They have three grown children who are an integral part of their lives. He is an accomplished guitar player, and enjoys performing, spending time with his family, and outdoor activities including skiing, sailing, fishing, and hiking.
