Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate prospective vendors for process capability based on project needs. Drive DFM activities with vendors on tool and process design for complex geometries and provide technical support in enhancing process capability and resolving technical issues. Develop robust processes for FA on customer returns to Synthesize Voice of Customer into both process changes and product development cycles.
- Publish reports on supplier performance based on production line statistics in the factory and field and plans on addressing any issues.
- Be responsible for overall process readiness of module supply chain. Assess project risks and proactively drive mitigation plans.
- Engage with cross-functional teams in defining engineering specifications for modules. Collaborate with Suppliers and Engineering teams in assessing, proposing, and developing process technologies based on project requirements.
- Identify equipment, fixture and tooling needs and drive implementation schedules and efforts to qualify and optimize the manufacturing process. Establish quality programs and manufacturing process control plans for early detection of issues and to ensure highest level of quality and reliability is consistently delivered.

Minimum qualifications:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in design and manufacturing of mechanical components.
- Experience with Lens and Camera module manufacturing, test processes and all subcomponents.
- Strong working knowlege & understanding of Camera module design.

Preferred qualifications:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with metal forming and injection molding processes.
- Organized and methodical with great verbal and written communication skills. Self starter with innovation, integrity and attention to details.
- Knowledge of Quality and Statistical tools and methods.
