Tauber Institute to Sponsor the MLC Annual Conference

The Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to spreading lean principles throughout every public and private sector industry in Michigan. The conference – Lean 3.0: The Next Frontier “brings together those who believe lean principles play a key role in Michigan’s turnaround by living the principles in our businesses and governments.”

In support of educating today’s leaders to handle the dynamic operations-related challenges from the plant floor to the boardroom, the Tauber Institute develops and delivers superior talent utilizing the strengths of Michigan’s top-ranked business and engineering schools overlaid with a comprehensive leadership development program.

The Tauber Institute will be sponsoring alongside Emergent BioSolutions Inc., DTE Energy, MMTC and others. With pre-conference networking, breakout sessions, workshops and several industry exhibits, this conference is inviting to any company interested in learning about lean. The Tauber Institute for Global Operations is a joint venture between the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering, and 30 industry partners to facilitate cross-disciplinary education in global operations management.
