The Student Advisory Board (SAB) comprises business and engineering students who reflect and represent the Tauber student body and collaborate with the Tauber administration to provide program input and feedback.

In addition, the SAB hosts multiple social events to integrate the Tauber community of students, organizes professional networking activities, and is tasked with the following areas of responsibility:

  • Facilitate an annual review of the Tauber program, including LeadershipAdvantage modules, team projects, academic requirements, and other programming with Institute staff and members of the Tauber community
  • Maintain awareness of the activities of the Global Operations Conference committee and assist as necessary
  • Ensure the planning and execution of the Tauber Leadership Speaker Series
  • Organize and facilitate a mentoring program for new students
  • Serve as ambassadors for the Tauber Institute with prospective students and industry partners
  • Liaise with the Tauber Alumni Board
  • Recruit clients, plan and manage the Institute's annual Community Service Day

The SAB can take on further areas of responsibility at the discretion of the members.

My first year at Tauber was extremely rewarding and enriching. Working alongside and constantly learning from my brilliant peers — whether it be within the SAB or the Tauber project team, have been the highlights of my time here. I can say, with confidence, that being a Tauber student elevated the University of Michigan experience for me.
