As a Finance Director in Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Business group, Andy Miller is responsible for leading the finance function for the One Commercial Partner division. One Commercial Partner is responsible for driving Microsoft’s strategic direction across various commercial partners who sell with Microsoft. For the past year, Andy has led the One Commercial Partner Finance team transforming and managing Financial Planning & Analysis, Reporting & Systems, Strategic Planning of the Partner group as well as managing the Partner Incentives portfolio.
Previously, he led the Financial Planning & Analysis finance team for Microsoft’s Worldwide Small and Midmarket Solution & Partner Group. He was responsible for the team who managed the worldwide revenue planning, forecasting and analysis for Microsoft’s Small and Midmarket businesses. Mr. Miller has been with Microsoft for 18 years. He has held a variety of positions including Controller, United States Public Sector; Controller, East Region, United Sates Sales & Marketing; Finance Director, SQL Server, Server & Tool Business.
He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan.
Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Communication from the Division of Kinesiology, and earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Andy lives in Sammamish, Washington with his wife and two children.
